CRAMA CEPTURA
Crama Ceptura history starts in 2005, one year after the reconstruction of the winery, when the very first batch of wine was tasted; since then, more than 7 million Euro were invested in sophisticated state-of-the-art technological equipment from leading European producers. Now the company is capable of processing up to 10,000 tons of grapes per season, with a storage capacity of about 10 million liters of wine. Crama Ceptura production capacities include two bottling lines and a warehouse that cover a total area of 13,000 m2; in 2020, 3.7 million bottles of wine were sold.
With an area of over 120 hectares, the Crama Ceptura winery is located in Ceptura village, Prahova County, just in the heart of the Dealu Mare vineyard region one of the most famous wine areas in Romania, with great potential to create wines with unique characteristics, due to local special microclimate.
The remarkable qualities of the wine produced by Crama Ceptura have been appreciated not only by the Romanian consumers but also reached wine lovers’ glasses all around the world: USA, China, UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia just to mention some.
