The company owns the largest single-owner vineyard estate in Europe, with over 2,500 hectares cultivated exclusively in the Târnave region, in the heart of Transylvania.

The activity is structured around four wineries:
– Jidvei Winery – main production of still and sparkling wines
– Tăuni Winery – gravity-flow winery dedicated to premium wines
– Blaj Winery – Jidvei’s winery, focused on aging and continuity
– Bălcaciu Winery – specialized in wine distillates (Vinars)
This integrated structure allows both consistent production volumes and the development of premium ranges and limited editions.

The Vine Nursery – A Strategic Advantage
A key pillar of Jidvei’s business model is its proprietary Vine Nursery, one of the most significant private investments in vine propagation material in Romania.
Through this structure, the company produces its own vines, adapted to the local terroir, ensuring vineyard health, consistent grape quality, sustainability, and long-term stability.

Starting with the 2022 harvest, Jidvei wines are certified under DOP Jidvei, marking an important milestone in the brand’s maturity and regional identity.
